Out of an abundance of caution and concern for our guests and our employees, please read the following COVID-19 update from The Briars Resort & Spa Management.

We are providing this update as we feel it is important that families and individuals make informed decisions.

The Briars Resort – Temporary Closure Message

Since the beginning of the COVID-19, we have been monitoring and measuring our response and operations based on information provided by the government and public health authorities, with careful consideration for the comfort, safety and protection of our guests and staff.

With the latest mandated measure to slow the spread by shutting down all bars and restaurants, we have made the difficult decision to close temporarily effective today, March 17, 2020 at 5pm until April 13, 2020.

 We understand this may be inconvenient, but your health and the health and safety of other guests and staff have always been our priority.  We believe this to necessary given this challenging and quickly evolving situation. We will endeavor to assist everyone affected as best as we can. Our reservations team will be contacting all guests affected by this closure, and refunds or credits will be issued to all those who have booked accommodations during that timeframe. For corporate and group bookings you can contact us via email at [email protected] and one of our group sales team will contact you.

We ask for your patience and understanding as we expect a high volume of calls and emails over the coming days. We remain hopeful that, through the adherence to the government’s measures of closures, recommended social distancing and heightened hygiene measures, this can be a short-term situation if we all play our part.
