The Briars Resort and Spa has been awarded the Safe Travels Stamp for practicing the standardized global health and hygiene protocols of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). The Safe Travels Stamp is an international symbol designed to allow travellers to recognize companies around the world who have adopted the WTTC’s health and hygiene protocols.  For more information, click here.

The Briars Resort & Spa Covid-19 Vaccine Policy for Guests

In an abundance of caution to protect our guests and staff, The Briars will continue to require all guests wear masks when indoors to access all facilities and services after March 21st.  This policy will  be in effect till mid April, we will  then assess the situation and adjust our policy as is prudent.

All inquiries and questions about this policy should be emailed to bob@briars.ca. Emails will be answered within 48 hours.

The following mandates have been implemented to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience at The Briars Resort & Spa:

  • Mandatory Masks
    Everyone ages 2+ is required to wear a mask in all indoor public spaces that are permitted to be open. Unfortunately, we don’t have a mask exemption policy.

  • Vaccination Policy
    Proof of Vaccination is not required after March 21st for guests to access facilities.

  • Social Distancing
    Practice safe social distancing. When you can’t maintain 2m/6ft. from others, a mask must be worn outdoors andthroughout the resort.

  • Hygiene
    Practice frequent hand washing and/or hand sanitizing. Sanitizing stations are provided throughout the resort.

  • COVID-19 Screening – Staff
    Daily screening of each member using an Ontario approved screening QR code is mandatory.
    The Briars Resort & Spa has implemented a Rapid Testing program for staff.

  • COVID-19 Screening – Guests
    We ask all guests to continue to be mindful of others. And will ask a few screening questions when you first arrive. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms or feel unwell, please stay home.
    If you begin to feel unwell during your stay, please remain in your room and notify staff. 

 

Please be conscientious of those around you and respect the experience of others. A little understanding and hospitality go a long way to making sure everyone’s experience remains a positive one. We’re all in this together and each of us doing our part will ensure that we all can stay healthy and happy.

6:00pm – 7:30pm

All Day Dining      
12:00pm - 7:30pm daily in Drinkwaters Lounge

*Reservations are required for all meals, with a reduced number of tables to ensure social distancing we suggest you call ahead to book a table.

 


Indoor Pool (Sauna and Whirlpool)

Open Daily- Maximum Occupancy of 10 guests at any one time in the pool/whirlpool area.

*Please note our indoor pool will be closed for maintenaince until March 29, 2022
*Our sauna and whirlpool are running during this time

 

Games Room and Fitness Room

Open Daily - Reservations required to access both to ensure social distancing.  Call ahead to book a time.

 

The Spa

Open daily 10:00am - 6:00pm, reservations required.
